I took you out of the car, and as has been the routine lately, you immediately wanted to walk down the block to listen to the school band practicing. I tried to tell you that they weren't there but you had to see for yourself. You even had us cross the street so that you could look through the chain link to make sure that they really weren't there. Not satisfied with the reality, you decided that we needed to walk around the block. You ventured up the stairs near the entrance of the school and and peered in through the glass doors. You even tried to open the doors for good measure. It took some convincing so that we could continue on our trek home. I carried you down the stairs and down the block. I managed to set you down just past the corner. You walked the rest of the way, but you were certainly not very happy about it.
