The morning of your second birthday started with balloons. Lots of balloons. You were in heaven and kept asking us to put you in the crib with the balloons so that you could kick and toss them all out. It was a lot of fun. Mimi also came over and brought you a present: a collection of musical instruments including a drum, xylophone, maracas, and a harmonica. You were quite the maestro.
After a great day at school, we had a pizza dinner and cake. And of course, more balloons in the crib.
You are truly a toddler now. On rare occasions, you seem so small, but mostly you are an independent, curious, very sweet little girl. We are so blessed.
