Today you are 14 months old. You are growing by leaps and bounds, walking and running everywhere. You are curious and determined. You are displaying small tantrums (already!?!) when we redirect you. You know where you want to go and what you want to do, it's just not always what should be. As a matter of fact, the last two mornings, as we walk to your classroom, you have decided that we have to walk there a different way than the way we always go. I assume that you that this new way will get us there just the same, since your quad-stroller rides (with your buddies) tend to follow this path. Kicking and throwing the ball are a good time for you these days, even if it is 6am. You love your books and a lot of toys are coming out of the toy box, as they become more interesting to you. You hand us our iPhones if we leave them on low lying surfaces. Some how you know that mine is the white one and that daddy's is the black one. You eat everything and then some. At times, if you see us eating something you decide that whatever you are eating at that time is no longer worth it and you must have what we are eating. You are very animated; act shy around new people but quickly come to life as you become comfortable. You are always in a good mood and always have a smile on your face. And people are drawn to your happiness, which makes us smile too. We love you to pieces and can't wait to see what else you have in store for us. XOXO, Maman and Daddy
